What to include

  • the link to the story or page;
  • what you object to, and the action you are asking for;
  • your name and an email address for our reply; and
  • if possible, a document or official source that supports your complaint.

Please share only the personal information needed to look into the complaint.

What we do

  • We acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours of receiving it.
  • We decide on the grievance and tell you the decision within 15 days of its registration.
  • Where a grievance concerns a factual error, the story is corrected under our corrections policy, in both English and Hindi.

Further appeal

If you do not hear from us in time, or disagree with the decision, reply on the same email thread. This process does not limit any further right of appeal you have under the IT Rules, 2021.
